Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Update: As of Friday morning, all merchandise is 90% off. The sale’s closing time has also been pushed up to 6pm. Our original report appears below.

If you’re looking to grab a piece of Lanvin from the Alber Elbaz era, head to C21 Edition. The fancy offshoot of the downtown discount department store is holding a sale of the brand’s merchandise right now with markdowns that start at 80% off.

The sale was previously listed as "private," but security at the entrances weren’t stopping anyone from coming in today.

Even though that’s a pretty high percentage, you’ll still be paying a lot for almost anything you pick up here. The ready-to-wear selection — which, for women, includes blouses, pants, cocktail and long dresses, fur coats, and even one dress that could pass as a wedding gown — is originally priced in the low thousands, which keeps the sale prices above $300 (and well above it, in some cases).

If you're not trying to drop that much money, check out sunglasses on the first floor (you’ll find some for under $100) and shoes on the second floor. Original prices for footwear typically hovered between $450 and $750. The handbag selection is sparse, despite being the most expensive of all — a crocodile skin sac pochette in aubergine would still be $2,800 after the discount.

You can shop this sale tonight through 9pm and tomorrow between 8am and 9pm 6pm at 21 Dey Street in the Financial District; you can walk right into C21 Edition from this address without having to navigate through the regular store’s crowds.
