TRIBECA—There's trouble in fitness paradise. Clipper Equity and the Equinox gym at 50 Murray Street are battling it out over "excessive noise" violations, reports The Real Deal. Clipper Equity is threatening to terminate Equinox's lease if the issue isn't resolved by February 16th; the gym responded with an $8 million lawsuit, saying "that the very same noise and vibrations that have been associated with normal exercise at the health club for the last 14 years suddenly rise to the level of 'defaults' under the Lease," and that the situation didn't have to reach such extremes.

SOHO—Market NYC is open and ready for business again at 290 Mulberry Street, after signing a 10-year lease. This is its third location, following outposts on both Bleecker Street and Bedford Avenue, just one block up from where it all began behind St. Patrick's Cathedral.
