Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Zola Townhouse, the online wedding registry service for the modern couple, has brought a shoppable abode to life with gifts for the newlywed's home with a little help from HomepolishAt 43 Crosby Street, couples will be able to register for whatever their hearts desires, whether it's from a big box retailer or a cash fund to save up for a honeymoon or a down payment on a house.

In one instance, a couple even used their Zola wedding registry to ask for an endless supply of avocados, Zola "Newlywed-at-Large" Jennifer Spector told us during a walk-through of the venue earlier this week (avocados were absent here).

For the townhouse, the designers created "rooms" that reflect areas in the customers' homes, from a sexy breakfast nook to a kitchen, a dining room, a bedroom, and even a bathroom featuring popular brands from Zola's website like Casper, Gray Malin, Minted, Kate Spade, and Hill House Home, who created pillows with embroidered sayings like "Let's Take a Nap" and "Hers and Hers."

Only a fraction of the merchandise Zola carries will be available at The Townhouse — the idea is just to get couples started on their registries IRL before heading back online to finish up. Guests will be privy to weekly events, as well as the option to make an appointment to sit down and do the full registry. Spector also mentioned that you don't have to be engaged to enjoy the space — come shop the lifestyle brands with your friends, she suggested.

The Zola Townhouse opens on Thursday, March 10th and will run through April 25th. It's open on weekdays from 10am to 8pm and weekends from 10am to 6pm.
