Streaming The Life of Pablo sans Tidal is still easier than getting your hands on the Kanye West's latest sneaker drop. Another batch of Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers will be released to the public this Friday, February 19th — but if you didn't grab a raffle ticket at places like Footlocker or Finish Line earlier this week, your chances are already severely diminished.
Luckily, Opening Ceremony is coming to the rescue of New Yorkers today:
According to its official rules, you can pick up a raffle ticket at the Howard Street store today between 11am and 7pm, and you'll be notified tomorrow of whether a pair has been reserved for you (if you're not around to pick up the phone, make sure your voice mailbox has been set up, the boutique warns). After that, you'll have a one-hour window on Friday to pick up your sneakers before they're released to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Opening Ceremony was one of the the boutique partners to release Yeezy Season 1 last fall, so it's not surprising that it's partaking in this. Other stores on that list — including Hotoveli, Atelier New York, and Kith — have yet to announce on social media whether they'll carry the black sneakers as well.
So outside of OC, that leaves the not-so-great Confirmed app, whose reservations open tomorrow, and trying your luck at the Soho, Downtown Brooklyn, and Kings Plaza Adidas stores when the sneaker is released on Friday morning. We'll keep you updated if anything changes.
