All the Places You Can Score Free Stuff During New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week officially kicks off on Thursday with Nicholas K at 9am, but don't worry if you find yourself without an invite. There are still plenty of ways for you to get in on the action — and, just like stalking it-girls, it's totally gratis. Below, we've rounded up all of the events you can attend and the freebies that you can score.

Get a touch-up.

Beauty-on-the-go app Priv has outposts set up in Triumph Hotels all around the city — including Nomad, Flatiron, Upper West Side — to offer complimentary makeup touch-ups and mini manicures, ensuring that you are camera-ready at all times. Snapchat that caffeinated selfie.

Perfect365, the beauty app that perfects your #selfies, wants you to put your best caffeinated face forward by providing attendees free coffee on February 12th at Moynihan Station from 9am to 5pm and again on February 13th at 550 Washington Street from 12pm to 8pm.  Have a ticket to attend fashion shows? Perfect365 will be handing out selfie sticks to those front row and backstage at the following shows: Leanne Marshall (February 13th, 3pm at 555 Washington St), Dorin Negrau (February 16th, TBD, at Pier 59), and Laurel Dewitt (February 18th, 8pm at 1Oak).

Go to a show.

FTL Moda's runway show, The Revolution Continues, proves that at its core, fashion should feel good. It'll feature models like Madeline Stuart, who has Down Syndrome, and Shaholly Ayers (who will walk with her prosthetic arm) who'll show off designs to the public from the likes of FuMo Bespoke and Lulu et Gigi at the Angel Orensanz Foundation for the Arts (172 Norfolk St) on Monday, February 15th starting at 6pm. Get your hair done.

Get catwalk-worthy hair at Tresemmé's Spring Studios (50 Varick St) between February 11th through February 16th, where you can also watch exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from NYFW and test out the latest hair trends while enjoying free coffee and charging stations. Get the VIP treatment.

Head to The Liquor Cabinet at The Gregory Hotel (42 W 35th St), where you can watch livestreams of runway shows and catch live interviews with industry influencers, designers, and models beginning February 11th. Custom cocktails created by the likes of Nanette Lepore and Hickey Freeman will be available, and you'll also have the chance to check out maps decorated by Charlotte Ronson, Shoshanna, Eugenia Kim, and more with each designer's fave NYC destinations, as well as shop the latest collections from KahriAnne Kerr and Sarah Carson. Lastly, participate in a fireside chat with Fashion Week Online director Chris Collie on Tuesday at 6pm, where he will recap runway trends. Fashion Week at the Liquor Cabinet is open daily, 9am—9pm, through February 18th.

Dabble in virtual reality.

Pop into the Coach stores in Soho (143 Prince Street) and the Time Warner Center (10 Columbus Circle) to pick up a complimentary custom Google Cardboard viewer — basically, virtual reality glasses — to experience the brand's 360-degree livestream for its runway show on Tuesday, February 16th, while supplies last.

Watch fashion hit the road.

Just ahead of his runway show on Monday, designer Jeremy Scott will preview his fall 2016 space cowgirl-inspired prints on ten Lexus SUVs that'll drive all over Manhattan on Thursday, February 11th, according to WWD.

One last chance.

Did you have hopes of attending Kanye West's live event debuting Yeezy Season 3 and the album whose name keeps changing but couldn't get tickets? Here's your chance: Adidas tweeted that it will give away a "small number of tickets" at its 610 Broadway, 136 Wooster Street, or 454 Fulton Street locations while supplies beginning at 10am on Thursday, February 11th.

Fashion tech startup and online marketplace Nineteenth Amendment is hosting a public, shoppable Fashion Week experience at Macy's Herald Square featuring its top designers from Manhattan and the rest of the Northeast on Friday, February 12th from 6pm to 9pm and all day on Saturday, February 13th.

Meet the designer.

On Saturday, February 13th, Rebecca Minkoff is inviting you to #SeeBuyWear her spring 2016 runway show at 96 Greene Street. After the show, you'll be able to shop the collection, get tips from the beauty pros (who will be recreating the looks for guests), and even meet the woman behind the brand. Get an inside look...from the outside.

In what has to be the ultimate street style moment, Tibi is offering passersby a viewing of its fall 2016 show (and the events leading up to it) through the floor-to-ceiling windows at its one-day pop-up shop, where you can also shop spring pieces, meet the styling team, and get a sneak peek a the fall collection. The pop-up is open today from 12pm to 6pm at 60 Tenth Avenue, and the show begins at 2pm (Don't worry, hand warmers will be provided).

Go to a fancy party.

DJ Steve Angello is partnering with e-commerce platform Fancy on an interactive gallery at 106 West 29th Street featuring a mash-up of music, art, fashion, and technology beginning February 11th and running until Valentine's Day, when the collaboration ends with a bang: A blowout party at Flash Factory.
