TRIBECA—The New York Times profiled interior designer Sasha Bikoff, whose pop-up boutique at 459 Washington Street has vintage furniture from the '70s and '80s that she collected during her travels and reupholstered with fabrics from the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, and Oscar de la Renta. "I wanted to create one-of-kind pieces that are more like art," Bikoff told the paper of her latest venture. The shop, whose price points range from $150 to $20,000, will be open until June.

MIDTOWN—As if you needed another reason to shop at Saks Fifth Avenue. Madison Avenue Spy says that the department store's "spend more, save more" gift card promotion begins this Thursday in stores (it's already active online with the code MAR2016). Spending $250 will get you a $50 gift card to use on a future purchase, $500 will get you $75, $1,000 will get you $150, and so on. A few brand restrictions apply, like Louboutin, Valentino, Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Jimmy Choo.

EAST VILLAGE—Another day, another neighborhood closing. This time, EV Grieve has the news that Barbara Shaum Leather (60 E 4th St) has closed after 54 years. When the owner died last year, she didn't leave any instructions for or a business-continuity plan. The store remained open off and on until Monday, when it shuttered for good.
