SOHO—It's been more than a decade since Nautica has opened a store, and it's chosen downtown New York for its retail re-emergence (guess the holiday pop-up was a practice run). Friday is the brand's opening day at 101 Prince Street — right between Apple and J.Crew — and the location will feature custom tailoring and same-day delivery service in Manhattan for both online and in-store purchases.

NOLITA—Maxwell Osbourne and Dao-Yi Chow, the Public School founders and DKNY's creative directors, are partnering with the New Museum on The New Woman's Project, five shows from five female artists beginning on May 4th, Dazed is reporting. "When we planned these exhibitions, we simply sought to celebrate some of the greatest artists of today, regardless of their gender, and yet our choices attracted attention," said Massimiliano Gioni, the museum's artistic director.

WILLIAMSBURG—After 10 years, Jane Brooklyn is closing at 135 Grand Street next month, but not without an "everything including the kitchen sink" sale that begins this Saturday. LazyLash, a salon providing eyelash extensions and waxing, will replace the retailer once it's gone.

HARLEM—Real estate agent and Harlemite Lana Turner's hats caught the eye of Red Rooster co-creater and chef Marcus Samuelson. According to WWD, 40 of Turner's headpieces will be featured in curated installations around the restaurant through September.
