Galeria Melissa is on the move. The candy-colored PVC footwear brand that collaborates with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld will relocate from its current location at 102 Greene Street to Tommy Hilfiger's former flagship at 500 Broadway, according to The Real Deal. The new location, between Spring and Broome streets, will be 4,200 square feet, which is double its current retail footprint.

If the location sounds familiar, its because it's next to Bloomingdale's and across the street from New York's newest Zara. The block is one of the city's busiest shopping streets in the city, with Dune LondonBrandy MelvilleMichael KorsStance, and M.A.C each calling this particular stretch of Broadway their retail home.

It's also noteworthy that the Brazilian brand is headed for a spot that likely has higher retail rents than its current digs, where it's leaving behind neighbors like MCMRebecca Minkoff, and a brand-new Fendi.

No word yet on when Galeria Melissa will make its official debut here, but we'll be sure to update you as we learn more.
