Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Within the last hour or so, the sample sale you never thought you'd see again has been resurrected. Beginning next Tuesday, May 31st, Diane von Furstenberg is returning to 260 Fifth Avenue for five days of dress shopping at up to 75% percent off, and we have a feeling that this is going to be good.

New Yorkers haven't been privy to a DVF sample sale since 2014, and if that one is any indication of this year's offering, expect to find an impressive selection of women's ready-to-wear and accessories, with dresses making up the majority of the merchandise. The sample dresses were just $50 and outerwear was also one of the better deals at the sale.

Usually, the sales at this venue are restocked throughout the duration with markdowns toward the final days. There is a shared fitting room in the back of the sale space, and you'l probably have to fight for mirror time. And since it's a summer sale, let's just hope the air conditioning stays on the whole time. See the Dealfeed below for more details on when you can stop by.
