Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We were bummed out that we wouldn't be able to watch fashion's biggest award show on TV this year — the Council of Fashion Designers of America announced that the Fashion Awards first-ever telecast back in March, only to call the whole thing off two months later — but all is not lost. You can catch a glimpse of the celebrities invited tonight's CFDA Fashion Awards in the Meatpacking District with a little bit of luck.

WWD is reporting that Samsung 837's event space will host a watch party for the ceremony (sorry, for invited guests only) and the afterparty with its attendees, welcoming hundreds of people for a special performance and sets by DJ Mia Moretti. So you know what that means: Diane von Furstenberg, Alessandro Michele, Marc Jacobs, and Olsen twin sighting are to be had.

You can expect neighborhood haunts like the Top of the Standard, Up & Down, and Le Bain to be filled with famous faces tonight, too. And while you're on the hunt for bold names, be sure to check out our guide to shopping in the Meatpacking District.
