It's crazy to think that the proliferation of Zara in New York City stops at Manhattan. The fast-fashion retailer has eight stores in the area between Lincoln Center and the World Trade Center, but none in any of the outer boroughs — the closest one to the Bronx is in Yonkers; for Queens, it's Garden City; and for Staten Island, it's either a drive to Edison, New Jersey or a ferry to the Financial District store.

But now Brooklyn is finally about to get its own location. WWD reports that the popular chain is headed to the King's Plaza mall in the southeastern part of the borough at some point next year. It'll take over space currently occupied by Sears, which is set to close in September.

Zara will be joined by Primark, the even faster fast-fashion store out of Ireland that first landed stateside last year. Its next big splash in the area will be at the American Dream Mall, in addition to opening a standalone store within the Staten Island Mall.

The paper says that the mall has seen a huge overturn in stores since new owners took control in 2012, bringing in brands that include Michael Kors, Vince Camuto, American Eagle, and the budget-friendly NYX Cosmetics.

Update: This post previously stated incorrectly that Primark had opened within Sears at the Staten Island Mall.
