Beyoncé and Jay Z Are Maybe, Possibly Buying in Brooklyn

LA must be so 2015. Whispers are going around that Jay Z and Beyoncé are looking to buy again in Brooklyn, this time at the upcoming Pierhouse near Brooklyn Bridge Park — not a bad backyard for four-year-old Blue Ivy.

Neighborhood blog The Brooklyn Paper is reporting that one Brooklyn Heights resident let it slip at a community meeting that a Brooklyn Bridge Park security guard told him during an evening stroll that the hip-hop's reigning royal family are rumored to have purchased a condo in the area's Pierhouse.

"I wish that I could confirm that Jay Z and Beyonce had bought at Pierhouse but I cannot confirm that," Barbara Wagner of Rubenstein Associates, the public relations firm representing the development, told The Brooklyn Paper. "You can publish it as a rumor."

According to Curbed, 78 of the building's 106 condos have gone into contract, save for the building's priciest one: the $10.49 million five-bedroom, four-bathroom penthouse. This means that if the rumors are true, the couple didn't opt for the most expensive option on the block, which is probably the most mindblowing part of all of this.
