Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

EAST VILLAGE—Rising rents forced Fabulous Fanny's to shrink its footprint by half, — with just 300 square feet, it's no longer selling clothing — but the Business Journal's deep dive into the store's dealings found the store to be thriving in the age of e-commerce. Owner Ken Finnegan said "he does a healthy business from customers of Warby Parker who bought their products online, were dissatisfied, returned them. and then find Fabulous Fanny's."

SOHO—There is one less empty storefront in Soho, since luxury jewelry brand John Hardy will now call 118 Prince Street home (as Bare Minerals and Kidrobot once did). The company's first US store, a 3,600-square foot location, will feature the brand's Bali-inspired, handmade luxury jewelry collections and lifestyle accessories.

UPPER WEST SIDE—Determined to create some traction to his store despite being hidden by scaffolding, Frank Stella Clothiers owner John Hellings is holding what may be the first-ever (but certainly won't be the last) "Scaffolding Sale." Now through March 31st, items at the 440 Columbus Avenue store will be 70% off, reports West Side Rag.

UPPER EAST SIDE—It's official: Barry's Bootcamp's newest location is now accepting reservations for classes beginning Saturday, March 12th. On the opening day schedule? Racked's Hottest Trainer contestant Matt Nolan.
