GREENPOINT—Sad news: Suite Pieces, the eclectic furniture store on Huron Street, will close its doors for good on February 27th, according to Greenpointers. In the meantime, customers can enjoy 25% off all home decor.

EAST VILLAGE—Beginning March 1st, jewelry store The Shape of Lies is going on a two-month "break" to rethink the future, EV Greive is reporting. When the shop reopens, it will no longer specialize in jewelry as several designers "have fallen in love and moved on."

EAST VILLAGE—The Upper Rust is relocating from 9th Street to Chelsea, EV Grieve also discovered. The new location of the antique home goods store will open in mid-March.

QUEENS—Spa Castle is in trouble again. This time a six-year old girl, nearly drowned when her hair got caught in a pool vent, according to Gothamist. She was removed from the water and taken to New York-Presbyterian Queen in serious condition.
