Park Slope Flea Reopens, A New Vintage Store in Brooklyn, and More to Know

PARK SLOPE—Tomorrow marks the 2016 debut of the Park Slope PS 321 Flea Market, which is no longer running under the same operator as the markets in Williamsburg and Fort Greene. Be on the lookout for new vendors this weekend and throughout the season.

WILLIAMSBURG—Our friends in LA tipped us off to the arrival of one of their favorite vintage shops, Raggedy Threads, coming our way. According to its Instagram, the shop is now in soft-open mode at 602 Grand Street:

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN—An Ann Taylor factory store will occupy space at the Fulton Street Mall, The Real Deal reports, a privilege for which they're paying $375 per square foot in annual rent. It'll be the retailer's second outlet store in the city, and it doesn't yet have an opening date.

MIDTOWN—Jon Caramanica took the New York Times to Diesel's new flagship and found the brand wrestling with its former and current identities, calling it "a Madison Avenue store with West Eighth Street soul."

UPPER WEST SIDE—Neighborhood institution Bra Smyth is on the move, but it's not going far. West Side Rag reports that it's moving up Broadway by not even half a block, between 77th and 78th streets, in the coming weeks.

MIDTOWN—The Shophound points out that minor design changes are ongoing at Bergdorf Goodman, with the 58th Street side of the store appearing to get the same makeover that 57th Street just unveiled. Perhaps the store is cramming this all in in case they get landmarked later this year?
