Venice Beach is coming to Nolita this month with eco-friendly designer Christy Dawn. The brand's collections are full of airy, floral-printed wrap dresses and genuine leather totes, messenger bags, and backpacks, all of which are handmade in L.A. using deadstock fabrics sourced from fashion houses via Ragfinders in downtown L.A..
Of course, using rescued fabrics means limited stock in each piece. It's worth noting that there are some pieces that are sold-out on the site (like the Dawn dress in blue and white floral, the Rowe dress in cream floral and the Frankie backpack in eggshell) so this could be the chance to snag them IRL before they're gone.
The shop is open now through August 11th daily, Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m, and Sat and Sun from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 266 Elizabeth Street.
