Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Update: Prices have been reduced for Thursday, the final day of the say. Original sale prices are reflected below and in the gallery captions above.

Before checking out end-of-season sales from the likes of Otte and Fivestory later this week, consider popping into Clothingline's latest multi-brand sample sale that opened to the public this morning. We joined the small line of shoppers waiting for the doors to open at 11am and found plenty of picks for $75 or less, plus a few brands that weren't initially advertised sprinkled throughout the racks.

Spotted in the front of the space was Pam and Gela, whose selection includes studded anoraks ($75), crochet three-quarter-sleeve tops ($40), pants ($50), and lots of printed dresses and rompers ($65). The available stock ran the gamut in terms of season, from bohemian-inspired tops, to funky jackets with shearling collars and prints. The pieces were sized from petite to large, and be sure to look for small stains and rips that may or may not be marked. Check out the gallery for some stand-out pieces.

Bailey44 had the most to offer in terms of style, selection, and quantity. There were plenty of leather-blocked, A-line silhouette dresses ($60), a few knit maxi dresses ($60), wool ponchos ($90), tulle midi skirts in multiple colors ($50), and a near-endless supply of tops ($50). Most of this was found in the center of the sales floor, but many of the tops spanned the back wall, ending with the outerwear selection.

This morning's shoppers seemed to favor Generation Love, located along the back window. The favorite pieces were the embellished tops and sweaters (starting at $20), textured and printed joggers ($35), and jackets with leather panels and studs ($75).

Heroine Sport was limited to one rolling rack in the center of the room. The selection of workout gear included bra tops with mesh detailing ($40), leggings and pants ($50), and one windbreaker style ($50). Get there early if you want something from this brand, because there was very little to choose from.

Unannounced merchandise includes a very small selection of Joe's Jeans (starting at $30) and Bedhead pajama sets for women, kids, and infants. Women who arrived early had armfuls of pieces ready for purchase, so we'd say it's definitely better to get here early to snag some good stuff. There is a fitting room available and a mandatory coat check. Check out the Dealfeed below for more details.
