Warby Parker’s First Brooklyn Store Is Very Warby Parker, Very Brooklyn

The very first Warby Parker Brooklyn outpost is appropriately nestled on Bergen Street in Cobble Hill, right by Clare Vivier and neighborhood bar 61 Local. The inside is very Warby, down to the displays of color-coordinated books, a cheeky map on the best spots to read throughout the borough, and plenty of frames, both optical and sun.

The company, which currently has four other locations throughout the city, has its branding down to a science: Every store has the same vibe, slightly tweaked to the location. One thing that makes the Cobble Hill spot special is the pair of glasses that are exclusive to Brooklyn, the Milton (pictured below), and that the books are all wordless — think sketchbooks and graphic novels.

Speaking of, you can also pick up a copy of Warby's first book, 50 Ways to Lose Your Glasses, which is pretty cute. Check it all out when it opens tomorrow.
