The 10 Pieces to Shop at the Sandro and Maje Sample Sale

  • Today, the Maje and Sandro sample sale kicked off at 260 Fifth Avenue, and we previewed the merchandise last night to find the sale's best pieces, like this Sandro leather jacket ($245).
  • 2. Maje printed pants ($85): There were tons of statement pieces like these on hand.
  • 3. Maje leather jacket ($245): The leather pieces are this sale's most expensive, but with good reason — they are super-soft to the touch and available in fashion-forward silhouettes.
  • 4. Sandro leather skirt ($125): While we were hard-pressed to find a lot of leather jackets, we were able to find a few leather separates, like this perforated skirt.
  • 5. Maje trousers ($85): There were so many work-appropriate staples, like these pants, available in a variety of colors.
  • 6. Maje lace top ($85): This top is so pretty — perfect for a picnic in the park or tucked into a leather pencil skirt for a night out.
  • 7. Maje sequin tank top ($85): This is the cool-girl way to wear sequins, no?
  • 8. Maje eyelet top ($85): This top is long enough to act as a stylish cover-up or as a dress, depending on your height.
  • 9. Maje neon skirt ($85): This added a bright punch to all of the neutrals hanging beside it on the racks.
  • 10. Sandro jacket ($145): There weren't many of these utilitarian rain jackets, and we expect them to go fast in today's weather.

This morning, the Maje and Sandro joint sample sale kicked off at 260 Fifth Avenue at 10am. We stopped in during last night's VIP hours to check out the discounted offerings and found both weather-appropriate work staples and a surprising amount of sequined pieces. Based on the number of people trying to get in last night without an invite, expect this sale to be very busy.

We only saw a few Sandro leather coats ($245) scattered throughout the racks — in terms of outerwear, it was mostly Maje's Kway jackets ($85), blazers ($145) and coats ($195). Tops and pants are $85, while dresses are $105. Click through the gallery above to see our top ten picks out of the bunch.
