The New Giuseppe Zanotti Flagship Is a Fancy Sneaker Lover's Dream Come True

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Giuseppe Zanotti just debuted its expansion on Madison Avenue, taking over the space next door to 806 Madison Avenue. We popped in earlier this week to check out the new store, which a sales associate told us is now 1,700 square feet and thus the Italian brand's largest in the country, earning it the designation of flagship.

Situated between Hervé Leger and Oliver Peoples, the new space now has even more room to stock the full range of Zanotti's shoes for men and women, as well as handbags, jewelry, and ready-to-wear. Upon arrival, we were quickly ushered to the sneakers on the right side of the space — the sales associate added that there was way more room for men's merchandise now.

While we didn't spot much in terms of ready-to-wear aside from a few hanging leather jackets (three, to be exact), there was a lot to offer in the footwear department, which definitely was not short on bling — options sporting crystals, fur, and glitter, were de rigueur.

Check it out for yourself this weekend; the store is open from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday.
