You Can Now Get 'Archival' Vetements at Dover Street Market

Dover Street Market, forever the purveyor of all things cool, is taking advantage of all of the hype surrounding French Fashion Brand of the Moment. Starting today, shoppers can find "archival" pieces — that's what the store is calling them, anyway, even though they're at most two years old — from Vetements (pronounced vet-MAHNts) exclusively at this weird location.

Creative director Demna Gvasalia has blown up on the fashion scene since replacing Alexander Wang at Balenciaga, but he's also had roles at Maison Martin Margiela and Louis Vuitton. As for the brand, it's championed for its trendy staples like oversized hoodies and mini skirts. "Real street style, of the non-fashion week variety," if you will.

This season, Vetements broke Instagram with its fall 2016 collection of unevenly cut suit jackets, oversized button-down shirts, camel trench coats, boxy sweatshirts that read "You Fuck'n Asshole," and a turtleneck that says "Are We Having Fun Yet?" It will probably be awhile before these items are considering "archival" enough to pop up at Dover Street Market, though.
