Four Wedding Nail Styles That Crush the French Manicure

You’re not a regular bride, you’re a cool bride. If you're already going alternative for your wedding invitations and your ring choices — both for the engagement and the big day — don’t settle on the same old French manicure that brides have been painting on for millions of years (yup, that’s a fact).

We turned to Van Court, the new healthy nail salon in the Financial District, to ask about some alternatives. Below, check out four wedding manicure options that general manager and lead technician Lisa Lee created exclusively for Racked:

Be Bold (top left): "A red nail is certainly one way to get noticed. This is for the bride who doesn’t shy away from bold colors or design. This design was inspired by a corset, and the bride can change up the shades to further personalize it."

French Twist (top right): "For the classic bride who wants to be a bit playful, this look gives them the ability to wear a nude."
