Assouline's Sample Sale Returns to Dress Your Coffee Table

Has a binge of Kondo-ing left your bookshelves a bit bare? Dress them up at the Assouline sample sale, taking place in West Chelsea tomorrow and Wednesday, where hardcover books on fashion, art, architecture, and more will be offered at serious discounts.

When we checked out the book publisher's holiday sale a few months back, we found that everything was either 75% off or 85% off its ticketed price. Fashion titles featuring Marc Jacobs, Dior, Chanel, and Bulgari were available, and the massive "The Impossible Collections: Fashion" was on sale for $211.25.

Be warned, however, that not everything we saw was pristine — plenty of the merchandise here was clearly available because it was damaged in some way or another, so consider whether you'll be able to camouflage the imperfections with some clever positioning on that shelf.
