The Skinny: It's taken over a year but Tom Kundig's Studio House has officially been sold. Originally listed in July 2013 for $4.9M, it was price-chopped a couple times before finally going for $1.1M less than original ask. Built in 1998, the combination home & photographer's studio provides a very artistic ambiance, almost like you're living in a really cool museum. Looks like we'll have to replace another home on our list of the 25 most Seattle expensive homes on the market.

The Skinny: Serious views of everything in Seattle from every room of this Queen Anne penthouse. Located just above Kerry Park, the condo includes a wet bar, theater, 600 sq. ft. deck and 200 gallon saltwater aquarium. You'll probably have to supply your own fish. The penthouse was last sold in 2005 for $1.35M.

The Skinny: Well that didn't take too long. Listed July 19, this one went through a couple pendings before closing mid-September. This distinctive Craftsman was built in 2008 and features modern interiors with vintage window touches in the bedrooms. Outside you get fruit trees, grapes, a water feature, modern firepit and barbeque platform. Just a few blocks from the lake, it looks an ideal family location on a 7,800 sq. ft. lot.
