What $1,100/Month Can Rent You in Seattle Right Now

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. We're bringing it back to the people as we look at rentals for $1,100/mo. You tell us which lease you'd sign.

We start with something small. A 373 sq. ft. studio in U-District for $1,095/mo. This modern studio at Duncan Place comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, living space, full bathroom (with tub) and washer/dryer. Parking and utilities included in rent as well.

Up next we head to Olympic Hills in North Seattle where you can get a 642 sq. ft. 1-BR ADU for $1,090/mo. Recently-renovated, the country-style kitchen provides tons of natural light. Washer/dryer & dishwasher included. There's a separate entrance for privacy and covered patio for BBQing and relaxing.

Next, we head over to Capitol Hill where you can find this 500 sq. ft. 1-BR on Malden Ave. for $1,100/mo. Once an East Capitol Hill home, this fourplex now features units with new kitchen cabinets, slab granite counters, newer carpets, vintage windows and updated bathrooms. Pretty central Capitol Hill location.

Now we're off to Leilani on Greenwood where you can get a studio unit for $1,105/mo. The complex is the appeal here. The uppermost courtyard is an outdoor lap pool with patio seating and amenity spaces. The lower courtyard is an outdoor patio with barbeque and fire ring. Inside there's a movie theater, gym and much more. Units looks pretty standard but well-maintained and modern.

Finally we go south to Columbia City where this 1-BR is available for $1,050/mo. Literally in the heart of CC, the ground-level apartment comes with a large patio and attached dog run. Everything's enclosed, so claustrophobes need not apply. But it's a nice-looking space (and location) for one person (and a small dog).
