Milton Stricker Home in Duvall Keeps On Keepin' On

When last we checked in with this 3-BR in Duvall built by Frank Loyd Wright disciple Milton Stricker, they had just re-listed the home at $825K after having dropped it $150K in the previous go-round. Looks like the re-listing isn't going all that well either and they've re-chopped it down to $783,750, the lowest price yet.

So what's the problem? On paper, the home has plenty of solid features, including major wood trim, vaulted ceilings, clerestory windows, a pool, three-car garage and huge 4.93-acre lot. Of course, there's a fine line between vintage and outdated and the kitchen and bathrooms veer closer to the later. Plus, it's not as though Duvall is right around the corner from Bellevue, let alone Seattle. Still, with money set aside for renovations and an interest in rural living, the potential remains for a solid purchase here, if they ever find the right price.
