Saturday, April 19 is Record Store Day, the annual celebration for and about independent record stores, their customers and the artists whose music thrives there. It's THE day to stop by the neighborhood record shop and find great deals, one-of-a-kind exclusives, special performances and much more. It's such a big deal around here, the Mayor has gone one step further and proclaimed Saturday 'Seattle Record Store Day.' So if you're interested in finding out what RSD is all about, check out our map of participating stores right here in Seattle. Some of them will be open early (in the case of one, midnight!). And if you're hungry or thirsty after buying all that vinyl, don't forget to check out Eater's list of nearby eateries and bars for after.
