What Does Seattle's Current 'Affordable Home Price' Get You?

After a brief dip below median home price in 2013, the "affordable" home price in King County is back up to $429,341 in March, according to real estate stat blog Seattle Bubble. They arrive at that number by figuring out what a family with the median household income (currently $66,023/year) could afford to buy at the current mortgage rates if they put down 20% and spent 30% of that monthly income. We took that info over to Estately to see what's available in Seattle right now around that price. Below, you'll see what we found...
